EDN is an umbrella organization servicing 700+ executive directors of non-profits. At the very core of the organization is its member-only forum, where directors share ideas and advice. Initially working with Google Groups, EDN soon required more advanced features, such as better notification options, categorization, and searching. We successfully scraped several years of data, and migrated their platform to the open source Disourse platform. Additionally we created a members-only web portal, where members can register for events, browse a vendor directory, and maintain a calendar of member-events.
Toys R Us stores need a way to get help when they have questions about their marketing materials. With complex installations involving multiple people and often done during off hours, getting answers from the vendors ASAP was critical. Our custom configured Helpdesk system allowed their vendors to field questions regarding missing parts or installation instructions, and respond with the resolution. Supervisors have the ability to monitor all activity, and escalate critical tickets to the appropriate parties immediately.
H&M needed a private ecommerce solution for their stores to procure marketing materials. We setup a portal for their print vendors to upload product, and a secure permissions structure that allows managers to order for stores under their jurisdiction. We included automated alerts and processes, so items requiring upper management approval stream through the process as well. Best of all- we delivered in 3 weeks!
